🥲Short Life Update
Hi guys! Happy New Year! I hope all my lovely people are doing well. Long time, no see?
I have adjusted to college, made a lot of friends, and been loving it so far. I visited an architecture and interior design festival sometime ago and also won this candle holder, which people usually see me snapping about. My end-of-semester exams are starting soon. So I guess I might go on an unannounced break again, but anyway, I hope you enjoy this issue. Fun Fact: I checked my Snapchat gallery while writing this newsletter to see what had happened in my life so far😗. If you don't do that, you're not a GenZer, lol.
🤔Things I’ve been Thinking:
Recently, I started journaling and repeating affirmations consistently after, I guess, a long sabbatical, and, to be honest, it has been working wonders for me.
I do two types of journaling: 1) Reflecting on my progress and addressing any emotions or unresolved issues aka keeping a personal diary, lol 2) Gratitude journaling, in which I write about things I am grateful for and things that I am excited to happen in a day, among many other prompts.
I had been struggling a lot with being okay as some things didn’t go as I had planned them to. The best way to ground yourself in hard times is to develop the habit of gratitude. It helps you find and see the positive.
So, now whenever I feel even a tinge of happiness or joy in me, I immediately say to God (in my case, Hanuman ji) that I am so grateful for this moment and to feel this light in me.
And also because of this affirmation thing, I have been able to reprogram myself to such an extent that any hardship makes my mind automatically say consoling and reassuring things to me. It's as if no situation or person can disturb my peace because I refuse to react to it.

🎬Video of the Week:
If you know me, you’d know that I love researching on things related to human psychology, human relationships (with self, family, partner and friend) and how we can be better at them.
Anna Akana is one of my favourite YouTubers and I have been following her since 2017. She makes videos on emotional intelligence, therapy, feminism and self-improvement topics all in a laughable skit format.
I won’t be spoiling has to what is that one trait she talks about but I did do the exercise she mentioned and found out not so surprising results on my past patterns.
Have a look at the video and let’s talk about it! 🐧
🦄Quote of the Week:
🪄Affirmation of the Week:
Thank you to all my friends and family who are reading this and stand by me always. I hit you guys up most of the times, crying or agitated with a problem and you always sit with me and solve them out.
You know who you people are, I just want to say, thank you from the happiest girl! 🥂
🎧Song of the Week:
“Keep me in your orbit and you know you’ll drag me under. You don’t wanna leave me but I am tryna self discover” 🫶🏽
Dog Picture of the Week

🖌An Art I came Across:
This was one of the metal art I saw in real life at ACETECH fest in Pragati Maidan last month. It represents Lord Vishwakarma made up of all machinery articles. Zoom in and see the intricacies! 😯
That’s it for this week guys. I am thinking to start sharing my write-ups on LinkedIn soon. So if you are connected with me there, make sure to see my posts!
Also, its so lovely of you guys to remind me that you had been anticipating my newsletter. Love all this support seriously! 🥰
Goodbye you cutie 👋
